Step two: Your vehicle's condition will be verified by one of our certified vehicle appraisers

The process of confirming all the information provided (including history report, accident history, and title information) and inspecting and confirming the vehicle's condition typically takes 20-30 minutes.  We will then confirm your offer or explain any adjustments that need to be made based on vehicle condition or history.

 

The appraiser will review specific conditions that affect your car, such as mileage, its make and model, and the condition of the interior and exterior of the vehicle including dings, dents, scratches, and any repairs arising from an automobile accident.  Along with other factors, including reviewing your vehicle's CARFAX report, this will help in determining your offer.

 

We have adopted a transparent process where any exceptions or adjustments will be explained to you in the course of the inspection.  At Acura of Libertyville, YOU are part of the process in evaluating your vehicle and presenting you with a firm offer to purchase.

Step three: Your Instant Purchase Offer is confirmed

If your offer is confirmed based on the inspection without any exceptions or adjustments, you will have 72 hours from the original time stamp of the offer until the offer expires.  Used car values can fluctuate quickly, so it is important to visit our dealership as soon as possible after receiving your offer.

 

If any adjustments to the offer are made, you will be provided with a written confirmation of the adjusted offer, and the 72-hour window will reset to allow you time to consider your options.  You can sell us your vehicle on the spot, or take your time and think it over.

 

Step four: Complete the sale

We can issue a check in your name as payment to purchase your car, or we can payoff any existing liens and obtain title on your behalf. 

 

Remember, as part of the Instant Purchase Offer, you must possess a clear title for your vehicle, so additional fees and costs may apply if your title is unavailable or held by a lender.
